just wondering if anyone can help with a bit of intake manifold help I'm wanting to know if the evo 4-9 intake manifold will bolt on to the evo 1-3 engine doing a rwd evo set up for a race car but need a new intake that faces the front of the car. Any other help or ideas will be greatly appreciated

 

It will not bolt up. Best bet is to weld the flange on the opposite side. Check out the latest modified magazine - there is a truck project where they did the same thing.

 

Same thing we would do when putting an eclipse head on on the 2.4L block in the truck motors. Basically makes a RWD set-up eclipse motor. You would just cut off the tb flange and weld it on the other side.
