YES!! im sick of that plastic peice of crap. For one i want to do an all N/A build but without fundamental parts being available that need good R&D put into them like an intake manifold it isnt such a viable option. I would defintaely buy a good quality intake manifold.

Although if one is made up it will need to include all the mounting brackets that the stock one has in the same place to hold the wires and the engine cover etc especially since my short ram intake mounts to one of the engine cover screws.

But yeah... i'd definately get an intake manifold if a high performance one was available as its an important part to any decent N/A build, not to mention that plastic one is less than impressive on the eyes.

Yeah, I'd definitely buy a nice, decently priced, intake manifold.

I think anything that would net a decent amount of HP for our 2008 lancers would be a welcomed mod.

So, basically....yes.

for starters, what (do you see) could be improved from our stock design? May be a naive question but this will help me understand what you see and what you expect from the project. Im interested

I'm guessing port it, polish it and many add velocity stacks.

umm best simple translation i could come up with is... make the joins match better, increase the internal size, make it smoother internally and use a better pipe/phlenum configuration.

Being made out of billet/polished aluminum would be a good idea too, im sure if it looks good that alone will create sales cause that plastic one is pretty horrible to look at.
