Exclamation AMS or ETS FMIC?

I'm trying to find some information about those products

The import to my country between each product cost around $50.00

I know ams have a lot of proven cars but my tuner tell me to go with ets, he have one and i works better for him

Those are the specs of each brand

ams have more flow and weight less but my tuner says ets is bigger and have more surface area, so it flows better

AMS
12.4" tall, 20" wide 3.5" thick
1250 cfm flow and only 1 psi pressure drop at 650 whp
Weighs 20lbs

ETS
24"x11.5"x3.5" Bar & Plate Core
1115cfm-758hp at 80% efficiency
Weight 35lbs

Which one should i go??

Out of those i like the AMS more. But have you considered the Buschur street core? it's 24 x 13 x 3.5

No way ets is 35lbs. Sounds a bit heavy to me eapecially a 15lb difference between the 2. I personally have ets 3.5 and definitely recommend it

Those are our shipping weights - it's a dimensional weight.

The actual intercooler is around 25lbs

Thanks!

Michael

Was wondering same thing isn't it pointless to put a 3.5in thick intercooler on stock turbo?

I'm sticking a 4" ETS on stock turbo, but the long term plan is to upgrade the turbo thou.

I run a garret 3.8 garret core and fat fab made and welded my end tanks, garret has a more efficient core IMO. ETS is a good company and quality stuff as well, I had a 3" ets on my stock turbo setup.
