MILSPEC ported 65mm with shaft seals depending on application and intake manifold.

Im running a stock Manifold at the moment but will be switching to a ported stock Manifold and a BBK-Full. I was kinda leaning towards the MAP 70MM but i guess MILSPEC 70mm would be basically the same thing i only saw the 65mm on MAPs website. I just wanna get one that doesnt have any issues lol

That's news to me too. I didn't think there is enough material left to take off.

Had a boomba, traded it for a mil spec 65mm. Now it runs and drives good again.

Your tps was probably not setup correctly then.

Stock intake manifold I would only use a stock TB that is ported. They do not make a 70mm stock TB. Let's not spread false info. Skunk2 makes a 70mm TB and they are terrible.

If you use a aftermarket manifold then IMO stock ported or a boomba 75mm. I run a 75mm and it is been working wonderfully.

If they did, that's what I would run.

Fullblown makes a 70mm cast.

It really depends on the setup. Most cases a 65mm ported will work really well on anything under 750whp.

Yep. But I recall there 70 and skunks 70mm tb's having fitment issues on the stock manifolds. Meaning porting the factory manifold out to 70mm is tricky or close to impossible. I would only run 70s or larger on bigger manifolds.

Yeas, the manifolds typically worked best with 70's if the mani is reflanged all together and welded nicely.

Fullblown 70mm if you're going to have a 70mm flange welded on the stock IM. If not, just run a ported 65mm. The Fullblown unit comes with a reducer, but I can't speak too much on how inefficient it was as I didn't use it.
