i have the STM sandwich adapter and glowshift oil pressure guage. My readings seem normal with driving and after initial stat up. However after ive been driving it the psi will drop as low as 2 at idle according to the guage. Is this an issue or normal getting the reading post filter?

i agree with what he said.

BUT. there is some info that we are missing. what kind of gauge is it. Mech or electric? i did notice that when i had a mech oil pressure on my engine(2.4L) with 5w-30 mobile 1. on a cold start up it would show 90-100 once fully warmed up at idel it was sitting at about 18-20. then i switched over to a electric one and it went to 80-90 at cold start and fully warmed up at idle 10-12.

 

Yea i did sme searching on here didnt find much :/ . Its a glowshift mechanical guage and its mounted Between the filter and the filter scrwe in spot.
