I noticed my water temp doesnt stay at the mid level while driving, there are times it will drop below like a cool motor when it's cold outside tonight it was 64 in Texas. I know the cooler the better but is this normal?

 

Ive been experiencing it too, double check back of thermostat cousins for two connection to sensors see if ones corroded away, one is for coolant temp sensor other is for gauge.

 

I've been getting this too every couple days on and off. It's almost like my gauge is sticking but I'm pretty sure its the sensor. I know its not the thermostat.
