interested what's the optimal operating water temp for evo. currently have fans set so that at idle, slow traffic etc. water temp never exeeds 90*C but when cruising it comes down to ~80*C. isn't it a bit cool and should I modify fan control tables at 22-80 km/h ?
p.s. measuring water temp at upper rad hose

 

stock thermostat ??? evo 4 is 76.8c

 

I haven't changed it, it should be stock I think

what about temps above ?

 

i upgraded my radiator and now at normal cruising my water temp is cooler than it used to be. still picks up to normal when i beat on it. I didn't eecpect it to be lower, just expected it to stay normal after harder driving.

 

wouldnt worry about it
