What is this? (Need ID on wire to block)

Looks like it attaches to a ground of some sort on the block towards the passenger side

It fell off today and when I tried to attach it back the wire just twisted with it completely off.

I think it connects to the lower left bolt in this picture

What you have circles is a knock sensor.

It looks like the flat piece slides into a black connector that's part of the tranmission harness of sensors..

Trans harness is small, and only entails the backup lamp switch and vehicle speed sensor, and it goes back towards the front of the car and connects at the thermostat housing. What are the wire colors?

The wire end of the piece I'm holding connects to an eyelid that is connected to the block via a silver small phillips head screw, The flat part of what I'm holding connects to the harness that has 1 blue and white colored wire, which is part of the harness that has the ground on the transmission as well as the starter connections

The gold thing to the left and down of the circled thing(knock sensor as previously stated) in the pic you posted is the oil pressure switch. According to the manual the wire colors for it are blue/yellow. The connector on the end of the wire you are holding is not a factory connector.

I'm assuming someone has done a repair on that wire in the past, and that is the spade connector that is on the piece in your hand.
