hello i need some advise for my built,i broke my engine and i am trying to built it again,my car is daily driven and i will bring it at drag runs for a few times...i want to go close to 600whp with pump gas and the max boost will 30-32psi..my plan is to make my engine manley 2.3l,gsc s2 cams and 6266 presicion,is that combination good for my target? if no its good to hear some other compinations...

 

I've heard of people having problems with the manley pistons in the past but i don't know if they're still an issue. I'm personally going with the buschur stoker kit this summer. 6266 will make the power but you could get away with using a smaller turbo (6262, HTA3582, etc)

 

do you know what problems they have with the pistons? 6262 can hold 600whp?

 

Apparently last year, they had a faulty design and there were cases of them warping and cracking. This is just what I heard on here, i don't have any experience with them. I had Wiseco's in my DSM back in the day.
Yea, a 6262 will get you the number you want, they max out at 700hp+ on C16.

 

I'm about to be pushing my 2.3L with standard Wiseco stroker pistons pretty hard with a Buschur FS635. May try this E-85 stuff now that I'm moving to were I can get it.
