Gsc s2r cams w/ buschur head

Will these cams work with the stage 3 buschur head without having to modify anything? I know have a pretty high lift, so i just want to make sure

Mine should be here soon and I'm gonna check retainer to seal clearance and piston to valve clearance. Hopefully this weekend...

Please post up your results^

I was told by buschur that you can go with just about any cam size you want. Just wanted to check here because not many cams actually have as much lift as the s2r

If Buschur told you, can run any cam. R2 should work fine.

So heres what i gather

On buschurs site, it shows the percentage of flow at diffent valve heights. The chart goes to .500" valve lift.... The s2r cam is .475" of lift max. Im going to assume it works being as i doubt they would list a lift/flow that the head cant even preform at

Its called just the R2 now, we dropped the S2R moniker awhile ago. They will work fine with most spring combos as long as you have at least 0.500 compression to work with. Most spring packages are at least 0.550 and then bind at 0.610 something from the installed height.

I need to know the same...
Buschur says it should, but told me to call GSC
GSC says call Bushcur, since they don't know what Buschur does to their stage 3 heads.

Their is a thread on Evom here with some members saying it didn't , but I can't find it.

I've been running R2 cams and 5041 gsc springs/titanium retainers, on a self ported Mivec head with stock valves, for the last 15,000 miles with no problems. This is on stock pistons.

As long as you have kiggly behive or gsc 5041 they should work.

Most Evo owners use these two.

Buschur stage 3 head and I had to switch to GSC 5041 spring/ retainers not to have retainer to seal contact
