In HK we have 98 RON gas, I think is the same in Aus right?
Tomei isn't as fast spooler as you might expect, but 120kpa beyond 5k sounds kind of slow! Check if you have any boost leaks. Also, EVC6 is an excellent EBC but it could be tricky to set, I suggest that you carefully read the manual & make sure that you have all the right settings.
120kpa is kinda of low for such turbo, I suggest that you tune your car with 1.7-1.8 boost in mind.

Yeah Australia runs 98 RON.
No problem, I've tuned a GT-A last year, E5 turbo, BC264 cams, 25psi, 98ron + meth injection, a very nice car with the auto tranny, high end power was very satisfying.
Let me know if you need any help when tuning the car, as I mentioned GTA ECU rom is different than other roms, but Australian tuners have excellent reputation... so you should be fine.

Thats not bad for the mods!. Im running the same mods as you but the turbo will be a DBB FP Green. If I make 260whp ill be happy that was my goal to start anything over is a bonus .

GTII is such a fast spooler, in my opinion, it would be ideal for the GTA, but it could be tricky to tune with MAF.

Arghhh ><. Tuners called me today. Reason I put the car in was mainly cause my radiator was leaking coolant from the top so was getting an aftermarket one + figured to save on labour costs ill do the turbo at the same time. They just found rust all through the turbo and other parts and tell me its a blown head gasket that could be caused from the radiator or just cause the cars 11+ years old now. Not the thing I wanted to hear ><. So now I have to replace the head gasket at the minimum depending on if it caused other damage, so im getting the head studs done as well since they have to take it apart . So results will be a little delayed!

260whp EVO VII GT-A is not bad considering stock EVO VII GT-A will dyno lower than 200whp on dynojet
Have stock figure also?

Very nice. So the 8MR turbo actually hits full boost quicker then the stock?

yes.. the power at earlier rpm range is a lot better.
dun forget ori gta turbo is 9.0T.. my 8mr is 10.5.
I guess material turbo is different. I tried weight the GTA turbo feel bit heavier than 8mr titanium turbo. 8mr seems lighter.

Actually can get around 270-280.. tuner told me my gearbox has something wrong.. he didn't check and already tuned.
Now shd be higher than 261 since i rebuilt gearbox last few week, now feel more torque and top end power..
Again somebody offer me his HKS gt2 ballbearing turbo.. Now i'm planning upgrade again since my gearbox rebuilt to withstand more little torque.
I asked my tuner he told his client same E7 gta similar mod with gt2 7460r, stock cam, can get into 330 no lag.. strongly suggest ballbearing.

Side effect is my oil temp raise 10 degree after changed into this. Performance is worth it.
I sold my 7 GTA turbo to airtrek user.. they love it.

I've viewed GTA rom recently, very interesting kind of piece, different fuel/ignition maps in different gears, tables for auto tranny operation, miliseconds adjustment how fast to upshift or downshift, at what speed, at what tps etc.

should be fun to tune it, foxbat should know this
