Question Extremely weird clutch problem

Hi. I'm from Iceland. Here's a "brief" introduction of my car. (I'll get to the problem at the bottom of the list).

Engine upgrades etc:

Shortblock:
Arias Pistons 8.6:1
Eagle H beams rods
ACL race bearings
Manley crank
Block bored 0.5mm over, honed 2019cc
Custom balance shaft elminator

Head:
Manley springs and retainers
Supertech performance Valves on intake and exhaust
Brian Crower 272's camshafts
ARP headstuds

Turbo:
Buschur FP3065R turbokit
Tial 44mm external wastegate

Exhaust:
3" downpipe with Vband, 3" catback

Fuel:
98okt/racegas/ethanol
Injector 1050cc
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Stock fuel rail
Stock fuel lines

Intake:
Stock intake manifold
Stock throttle body
Turbo XS 3,5” FMIC
Tial 50mm bov

Transmission:
ACT HDG6 clutch BRAND SPANKING NEW
Buschur Racing solid Shifter Bushings
Stock Gearbox 5speed
Stock transfer case

Engine ECU:
AEM EMS V1

Suspension:
Bilstein shocks
Eibach springs

Gauges:
AEM wideband
Boost Gauge
Oil temp Gauge

cosmetic changes:

BBS MR SE 17'' felgur
Dark headlights
Evo VII tail lights
carbon fiber wing mirrors
Carbon Fiber Side Spats
Carbon Fiber Vortex Generator
Evo IX Euro rear bumper
black door handles
Euro number plates
Evolution IX on rear
8000k xenon

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, the problem I'm having is when I really step on the gas the clutch just completely lets go...
It'll go into about 0,5-1,5seconds of boost and around 6k rpm clutch just lets go when throttle is wide open. If I ease the throttle in I can get away with it without it slipping.

Normally this is just a sign that the clutch needs replacing but I replaced mine about 3000 miles ago........

clutch is ACT HDG6 clutch

clutch just got leak tested today and a failed attempt to calibrate it.

So for those of you who have a lot of experience in these evo's, what does this sound like to you?

to me it sounds like a clutch press going bad or even a damaged disc.

I treat my car good, I've only launched it once since new clutch went it etc.

Sounds like its over adjusted and the slave cylinder isnt disengaging making the clutch stay partially disengaged... Try to adjust you pedal rod to make it engage/dis low in the stroke... That way the clutch master doesnt move so much and see if that helps... If so figure outwhats hanging up the system...

And depending on how long this has been happening you might have smoked the pp/flywheel already

My mechanic already tried to adjust the clutch as much as he can with no success. I doubt it's the flywheel because it was replaced when the clutch was. Flywheel wasn't new but it was ok. It's only 3000 miles since it was replaced.

This will be disassembled next month, just hoping for some ideas which might prevent me for opening the box for nothing.

All comments appreciated!

he probably didnt adjust it like i mentioned... and i meant that even if it was good... slipping at 6k+ is 100 revolutions per second... which means the friction plates get very hot, warp and glaze extremely quickly... they might have been good but probably have seen better days now...

if you get the clutch adjusted to where it is just barely able to disengage the clutch then it will be able to put its full force down and should hold...
