Car going lean after about 5 pulls...
Having an issue where my car starts to lean out after about 5 back to back pulls... was doing this before and replaced the 2 in tank walbros and it never solved the issue... I am guessing that the pumps are getting hot or something, but makes it very fruatrating to try and tune the fuel map... been thinking of swapping over to a walbro 416 and trying my luck with that set up...
Freddie have you changed the filter? Being I know you run e85, is it possible that either the injectors are clogging up with goo or maybe the filter having some sort of crap in it? Doesn't make since if you put new pumps in and it goes lean, that wouldn't be the pumps, it has to be something else inline. I would suspect maybe the injectors, maybe a leak from the injector seals or something along those lines, or maybe the filter being clogged to some point. Those are what I can think of off the top of my head. Good luck buddy i'm interested in finding out what is causeing this.

The car has always had the issue even replaced the injectors as well... i put in a new filter when I replaced the pumps... checked the injectors last week... but like I said it only happens after like 5 back to back pulls... I am still able to tune the fuel map but once the car sits and cools down the car will be pig rich... very irritating...
Yeah but you would hate to replace that to find out the same problem is still there. That gets expensive ya know. Fuel rail holding back on you or is it upgraded? I am guessing it has been probably upgraded but its a thought. Another thing too is check for a pinched line somewhere. I am guessing maybe in the dp area where the line comes out of the sending unit and down to the line on the car. It has that J sorta thing going on. Make sure that isn't pinched. Mine was the first time I did mine I had to cut it out and reflare the end and put the line back on. IDk just thoughts off the top of my head.

FIC 2150s and the issue occurs with either 93 oct or E85, aeromotive fuel rail, lean spool disabled...
Curedsm... if it was a pinched line I believe it would always have screwy fuel pressure, not after like 5 pulls... I need to check the fuel pressure when all this is going down to see if I am dropping fuel pressure or what...

Slap a pressure gauge on the fuel rail. Pressure should always be manifold pressure + 43.5 psi. If its falling more than a few psi below that, then you know its something with the fuel supply.
How much power are you making.

Nope still MAF
I know I need to look at fuel pressure next... I just gave my spare gauge to my brother for his LS1 Mustang project... so I gotta get everything again... I am at around 450hp on pump gas and about 550 on E85...
