OEM knock sensor should work with the AEM ECU

I don't think that such feature is available on the AEM EMS.
The CEL/knock is available on the stock ecu through Ceddy's rom (evo 5/6) or Tephra roms (evo 7/8/9).
Or you could buy a knock box that has a knock alarm feature, I think turbo xs offers such box.

As in one isn't installed, or you think that your car didn't come with one from the factory? If the latter, it does, and it's located underneath your intake manifold.

Either way, I would go with the OEM sensor for daily driving detonation detection as its been tried and tested, and just have your tuner rock a set of det cans while tuning if you're worried about phantom knock
