Competition Clutch stage 2 or stage 3.5????
+1,
I have a stage 2, and I DD mine, and I've already had it a few months and its starting to lose life. My numbers are a little lower, but still in the ballpark.
Wish I would have gone with stage 3.
FYI I do like to launch so take that with a grain of salt

Definitely stage 3! My CC stage 2 only lasted 8 months, pushing roughly 415 hp and 400 tq. I have never taken it to a track, I have launched it a handful of times, and a daily driver and was toast! I am at 255 miles on my stage 3 break in and love it. Be sure to use the red line cocktail for the tranny, much cheaper and smooth. I learned the worst things for a clutch is reverse and first gear to acceleration, those tend to have the most slippage and wear out the clutch the fastest. And of course launches. Hope this helps!
MAP has 3 reviews on the stage 2 clutch that all received 5 stars with in the last year. One mentions the TOB that comes with the clutch kit not being OEM. I'm all bolt on and E85 tune on stock 8 turbo and my stock clutch was slipping at 282 torque on a heart-breaker dyno. From what I have been researching the stage 2 will be worth it for my power goals (340whp/330trq) and occasional track/autoX will be a great daily clutch with room for trq growth.
