i was pushing 526 whp 414 tq on my stock block with 105k on it. it also depends on how agressive your tune is. that should give you a nice baseline

The amount of torque and how early it hits is what kills our motors. Keep the torque at a reasonable number and have it hit later in the powerband and u'll aiight. Its all in the tune.

Yup I was doing 515hp/400tq and that wasnt what blew my motor up. It was doing very well at those levels. Don't let your car overheat at those power levels though lol. Kaboom

My car was making over 530whp/500wtq for a couple of years on the FP Red, then 601whp/470wtq on an HTA3582. A rod finally snapped after a few quarter mile runs with the HTA3582 at the track revving near 9k through the traps. These motors can take a lot of abuse....

i was pushing 33lbs on a fpred with engine problems for a couple of months on the stock internals before i put a rod through the block.
was definitely well over the 500whp mark. was taking apart the block and the awesome thing was that the rod bearings were unscathed (usually if ur knocking alot, it will beat up the bearings)
if i had he car tuned correctly, id still have the original motor in.
