2.4L timing with 4G64 gears????

Anybody have the 4g64 dohc cam gears installed on their 2.4L. Im trying to see how the timing marks should look. I got tuned yesterday and we noticed my exhaust cam seems a little too advanced and off . Any help would be appreciated on correct timing using the 4g64 gears. Also using the 4g64 timing belt.

You should use a degree wheels to time your engine. When swapping the evo head and using the 4g64 block, using the 4g64 gears will not put it perfectly in time. You are still going by the 4g63 timing marks on the 4g64 gears. Which I think should put you 7 degrees advanced. I tried this with my build. I went to adjustable gears to degree the cams and set them corectly.

i didnt think you could use the 4g64 gears, you had to use atleast one adjusable cam gear and one 4g63 cam gear, or both adjustable camgears.

4g64 swap will advance the timing 3.5 degrees with the 4g63 gears from what I've read. Their are 48 teeth on the cam gear which will be roughly 15 degrees per tooth. So it should be 1/4-1/2 tooth off. Anyone else agree?

The problem is you can't trust the marks on aftermarket cam gears to be accurate. If you throw a cheap set on and advance them 4 degrees they will be off im sure.Anyone know of any gears that are accurate?
