Transmission help!

Transmission help!

Hey Guys Just got my tranny back today and I am having the absolute hardest time ever!! I can not get it to line up or angle in for anything. I must have tried for 2 hours straight. It is an 03 evo 8 can someone please give me some tricks they used or simply what will work.

Make sure your roll stopper bar is out, and of course your TCase so it doesn't bind going in.

But since I don't know what part of the process your at please let us know so we can help.

the hardest part really, which i think you're having is lining up the spline to the motor. the easiest way is to have 2 people. one person lining up the tranny to the block and the other turning the crank.

The trick is to have the back end of the car a bit higher than the front.

Yep lower the engine ALL the way, go in at a angle then up, Have the Crossmember Down so it clears it might even have to wedge it back a bit. The splines are jammed up r they? is it a twin disc?

It is a pain but doable... I had to keep lowering and moving the motor around till I found that sweet spot ... good luck bro
