Cam seal install not going so well.

So im installing new cam seals. I have put a thin amount of rtv on the grooves and the seal itself. When I tighten down the cam cap the bottom trys to pop out. Any tips, suggestions, etc? Cant even get 5 ft lbs on it without it popping out.

Make sure the seal is seated all the way back against the head. If it pops out you ma be using the wrong seal. Is it an OEM seal?

One time I use FelPro and it didn't fit as well as the OEM seals I use now. Like batty said, make sure it's up against the head.

Is it snug on the camshaft or loose?

Snug, and OEM. It doesn't pop out completely but the top seems to sit in better. I have evened it in there still wants to move a little I will see if it moved out as it sat overnight.
