U need more fuel for sure! Double pumper, 1400cc+ injectors. And yes get rid of those cams! Get some kelfords or gsc.

Update your original post with this and you may get a few more responses.

Ok folks,

I need help or suggestions from you pro's out there. My main goal is 500awhp on pump gas. What mods do I need to get there?

Current Mods:

-AMS CNC Head
-HKS 272
-Buschur 2.3L Stage 3 Shortblock
-Perrin IC Pipes
-Turbo Back Exhaust
-255 Walbro

I know I also have to upgrade my injectors to achieve 500whp on pump gas. I'm not intersted in using E85, but would do water meth injection if I have to. Do I need an upgraded IM/TB?

Any help would be appreciated!

Now to answer.

Motor/bolt-ons:

-I would look into porting your IM (Curt Brown would be my choice).
-Next, get rid of said HKS272s. I would go with S2s or S3s. Make sure your AMS head has the proper valvetrain to support said new cam.

Fuel:

-Injectors, on pump gas, anything low impedance more than a 1450cc is going to drive like sh*t on pump gas. However, 1250s or 1450s will get you there on pump.
-You do not need a double pumper. Get a Walbro 400lph and that will get you where you need to be.

Turbo:

You're not going to hit 500whp on pump with a Red. In fact, a Black would barely get you there, so I'd advise going T3. Meth isn't reliable, so I wouldn't go that route. A used cast T3 setup can be had for cheap and will get you where you need to be while spooling better than most normal runner size manifolds, and won't be a restriction under ~700whp.

I'm not on the forums much anymore and I've personally answered your exact inquiry multiple times in the last month, let alone year, so a 10 second search will net you with more valuable information (some not so much) than you know what to do with.

Hope that helps.

If you're patient and find used parts, a T3 setup can be had cheap. My Hafe manifold, 02 housing, Tial WG, and old BB PTE SC61 was pieced together for $900 and made 487whp with 91 pump on a super safe, base tune just to get it on the road.

check out GSC R2 stroker cams as an alternative. They're a relatively new development compared to the S2/S3 solution. All will need beehive valvesprings.

Good luck, it seems that you have quite a foundation for the 500hp. How many miles do you have on your 2.3?

Ok. Just purchased a Ams vsr intake manifold.Im torn between 2 turbo kits,I can get a buschur htga35r with tubular manifold for a good price, but have m heart set on a AMS v-band turbo kit with fp 58/58 bb.Love the idea of a quicker spool-up
What do you guys think would be a better set up for me
