extreme psi level 0 front axles

http://www.extremepsi.com/store/prod...roductid=25082

Has anyone used these personally? Im fairly stock might make 400tq in the distant future, it says these are an improvement over stock but then say they're a cheap alternative...my axles in the front are clicking and giving some friction, these just seem like the most ideal what do you guys think? For what the factory wants I could get 1000hp rated axles

Likely 1/2 the forum has 400tq and all on stock axles-- no need.

Rebuild your axles or buy good used axles. Upgraded axles are not needed, stock can take alot of abuse.

Kind of missing the point, these are not very expensive, I need new axles as this car is my dd and I can't just have it sitting with no front axles while they're off being rebuilt, these just seem like a good deal, what in asking is are these good quality?

If anyone knows of where to get new stock axles that fit correctly for les than 359 let me know

You can get axles for $80 each on ebay or the F/S threads.

These are dss level 0 does anyone click the link anymore? Lol thank you. I'll probably go with these I don't really want to get used axles, mine were toast at 70k, I get a friction noise and feeling when turning right above 30mph that increases with speed, and I'm getting clicking and fluttering noises from under the front of the car all signs that point me toward bad axles

I was looking at these as a replacement when the time comes. not terribly expensive, and seem like an upgrade compared to the stock/ aftermarket rebuilt ones. please do a review if you decide to get them.

i'm sure these are fine i'm going to talk to extreme psi tomorrow to see how fast they can get here and how they perform...their wording just makes it seem weird but it says it's a better longer lasting design than stock, just weird that they keep saying it's not a racing axle, seems like a way to get out of taking responsibility for breakage on an averagely modded car...i'm going to do some more research

Talked to a guy at extreme psi, he literally said he didn't know they sold them and as far as he knows they've never sold any before and recommended I get axles at AutoZone, case closed iwill never shop with extreme psi

I'm a bit lost of why you won't shop at Extreme psi anymore? The guy gave you honest advice and didn't sell you something you didn't need, that costs twice as much for basically the same thing.

oem axles from the factory are 700 dollars each, i'm a little lost on where you're getting your numbers, and yes I would discredit a company who doesn't even know what they have for sale or anything about it, maybe where you live business is done that way but here with plenty of options i'm not going to go with a company that doesn't stand by their product and learn about it before saying they'll sell it to you.

I also wanted only new axles, not used, I don't take chances on used parts anymore for these cars, same with my VR-4 doesn't usually end well

I ended up ordering some aftermarket axles from FFTech out here in Hayward California they're the local Evo gurus in bay/northern CA, paid 150 each for new stock/a step better quality axles

Extremepsi is a very stand up company and has always been super helpful whenever I call them. And they usually ship super fast since I live in jersey. I don't understand how you could bash a company for giving you an honest opinion and instead of saying they are great and taking your money, they simply stated that they aren't worth it and saved you a good amount of money and pointed you in another cheaper direction. To me that seems like good service. They might be selling the product because they sell dss' products, it's not their own personal product to stand behind

I don't think you're getting exactly what I said or how the conversation went, I called and asked about DSS level 0 front(left and right) axles, he said he didn't even know they sold them, he hadn't personally sold any, I asked him if they had other axles and he said oh yeah we have DSS level 2 axles those are great...

So i'm wondering at this point why don't you know you sell the level 0 stock replacement axles...

Then, I asked if he knew anything about any other stock replacement axles, he said no, so I asked about autozone axles, he said he knew people with other cars who had gotten them, such as honda guys

however I found out the catalog is messed up and they end up giving you base model lancer ES axles...not evo axles, they don't have access to any currently.

He did not say DSS axles were bad or that I should go another route, he said he didn't know anything about them, or that they even sold them

i'm not bashing them saying they're bad, i'm saying if they aren't able to tell me anything about their product, why would I buy it?

i'm in shock that people can sit here and act like i'm the bad guy for not wanting to buy something from a company that doesn't know anything about products they sell,

maybe it was just a bad product to ask about but come on I mean you have to at least know your company sells reputable parts, it shouldn't be completely up in the air if something they sell is any good, and I understand wanting to make money and surviving I guess I just am wishing they knew more about this particular product because it seemed like a good product but them not being able to tell me anything about it kind of turned me off from buying from them

so to the two above suggesting he turned me away from the axles "because I don't need a stock replacement axle set for my bad stock axles" are you guys even reading or just here for the flaming?
