HELP!! high pitched scretching noise when boost should be on

Just got my car back and there's a really high pitched loud sound whenever the boost should be on, and i dont feel any kick. Car was in body shop getting fixed from an accident. The fmic was replaced for a br fmic, and the radiator replaced for pwr radiator. Everything else has no connection to moving parts nor the turbo. Could there be something wrong w/ my turbo, transmission, or something else??? The sound is not dependant on speed. Usually starts around 3000-4000 rpm's and when i try to accelerate. I dont have a boost gauge yet, but has anyone experience nething like this? or do u have suggestions on what might be wrong?

I did have a very hard time with getting the included new outlet pipe for br fmic, onto the turbo, so maybe that is loose, i will check that tommorow.

I DID take the boost line that used to go from wastegate to outlet pipe nipple , and reused the connection to go from wastegate now to the bov (b/c thats what everyone whose done a br fmic install has told me, and what everyone at br has told me).

any help appreciated THANKS!

Funny the same thing happened to me the B-shop failed to tighten the bolts at the turbo (the BR FMIC install requires this) and the gasket went giving a wistle/screech as soon as the car started boosting...

The car I'm talking about had it happen at about 6000rpm, you'd get an audible hiss, and a MAJOR drop in acceleration. Has your airbox ever been out? 10:1 that is the problem if it has."
Damn its 2 am went out in da blistering cold with crossed fingers, and the 2 screws that hold the duct down, are secured, and all metal pegs r in place to hold the airbox tight. THanks tho! search continues

ok, gaskets there in working order. Checked the pipes for leaks if nething they r too tight. Checked hoses all tight. Retightened the outlet pipe to turbo bolts. NOTHING, still noise. maybe its my turbo? bov? wastegate? damn i'm lost

NE ONE know or work as a mitsu certified mechanic??? Or ne mechanic shop recommendations? I need a professional opinion from someone who really knows what they doing, or who is certified to deal w/ turbo cars.

check all the pipe coulplers and also check the 2 bolts that hold the black pipe from the compressor side to the fmic

Check the seal on the pipings from turbine to the FMIC and throttle body. It should be a bad seal from the turbine to FMIC. I'll bet u $10 it is. I had it too.. sounded like someone whistling a bad tune and running out of breath when u released the throttle.. you can even make it sing
