Car wont turn over after injector adjusting?
Car wont turn over after injector adjusting?
So after 5 months i put my car back together. when were done we started it, and it ran like crap barely wanted to run. But, its because i went from 1250cc injectors to 550s, so on the same tune obviously it wouldnt work. There was also no gasket between the turbo and the manifold, so we went through the work to remove that.
Little later we flashed the car, and adjusted the tune to the 550cc injectors, and pulled a little fuel out of the tune. Now, it just cranks, wont turn over. Car is still getting fuel though....
Looks like one of my terminals on my battery is shot, but its still getting power.
Any ideas?

Sounds like there may be a LOT more going on than what you just explained to have any one try to remotely pin point an issue. Check all wires, check all fuses, check that youre getting spark, check that youre getting fuel. Start with simple "duh" items that you may have over looked. At the more non simple items, it could be even something as big as your crank trigger disc may be inverted. While ultimately simple, its a bit*h to get to.
Perhaps let someone who really knows the in's and out's of tuning check that you didnt fudge any of the injector inputs.

Did you test your ignition? Are you getting spark at all? Just because you're getting fuel doesn't mean that you are going to get combustion. Need proper spark and proper airflow.
Check your coil pack and all your connections and make sure your gap is correct for whatever plugs you're using. Multimeters are useful when finding out if you have any power going to your pack/wires.

Obviously its turning over.
If it cranks, then its turning over. Its just not firing to run. Either its no spark or not enough fuel.
I suspect that its tuning related sinec it ran before you changed the injector size input. Probably scaled wrong.

Me personally, I would just go back to a stock or semi stock tune to see if you can just get it running. It'll need a proper tune anyways since you moved parts around/removed and replaced to lower parts as well.
Mission #1 should be to get it to start, mission 2 should be to get it tuned.
Good luck but without more information we probably wont be able to help much.

I just read that you're not getting spark. Test both coil packs. Could be numerous things. Get back to us.
What mods do you have?
hey guys, so bought new plugs today, tested everything....at this point im convinced it is in the tune...we are gonna mess with the tune tomorrow. The car went from 1250s rp red and kelford 272s on a maf to 550s, evo 9 turbo, kelford 272s with maf still. But before i rescaled injectors it ran, so im thinking the injectors are scaled wrong, lets cross our fingers and hope for the best

I knew you changed the scaling, but I didn't know you started with a fresh rom.
