Dan is correct, they are adjustable.

I am assuming they slowed them down for the vid so people could see the system working. That being said, I don't know that for sure.

So it seems that no one has tried one yet. That sucks, I was hoping to know what I was getting into, but I guess I'll be the guinea pig, lol.

If it works as it should, I wonder how many people would go this route.

When are you buying it? If it works I bet a lot of people will buy into it.

Once you buy it how long until its in the car? What type of setup are you running?

I will probably buy it next week.

BUT, I want to go have fun at the shootout, so I'm not ruining another one of my years attempting to whip something together last minute. I'll run the car as is, then start the install and testing after the shootout.

My car is FP Black, BR 2.0, AMS Race head, GSC 280s, Exedy twin HD, AEM EMS

If this doesn't work the way I want it to, I'll be like everyone else and go GT-R.

Understandable. I hope this does work out because it will give guys "auto" like shifts and still have the manual type power and mph at the track. Also possibly costing less then a dog box type setup.

As for the GT-R. We all deserve one with the time we spend on these cars lol.

Nice find,
what is the adapter that is used for the shift pattern? Were you able to find that out from Master shift.

Interested as well

I didn't ask for part numbers or anything.

I can get a list though, if others are interested.

Never considered paddle shifters until I was at New Jersey MotorSports Park last month. Don't know if I'd pull the trigger, however, I'd love to hear how things work out for you and a detailed report.

Keep us posted. Good luck.

I drove an old F100 that had one of these rigged up to their tremec t56 transmission.. Just like in the video. It was cool n' all but I feel like this is a luxury rather than a necessity for performance.. Worked great but think NLTS is much more effective than this. If this was going to be practical, they need to make a clutch system that is "semi automatic". Eliminating footwork (clutch pedal) , rather than something your hand does quite well (shifting accurately/ timely), would have a better appeal to track guys. You can "two foot" all day at the track, while having the dexterity of a 5 speed (H style). Check out Rekluse clutch systems for dirt bikes/ ATV's, it was revolutionary for its time.

Just playing devils advocate and sharing some personal experience with it

The Ikeya unit was just a conversion for the H-pattern shifter to a up and down sequential esque shifter. Strictly a mechanical conversion for the in-car proration of the shifter.

Master shift looks like extra weight to me. More of a novelty than anything else.
