I'm swapping an Evo 8 engine into my 4. The turbo to downpipe connection on the 4 is flat and on the 8 it uses a thick exhaust ring. Also, the 4 has studs in the turbo outlet for the DP and the 8 has bolt holes. How can I make this work without taking it to a muffler shop?

 

use the 02 housing from 4.

 

I would switch to an Evo 8 down pipe, more aftermarket options that way.

 

Thankyou for your responses guys. Switching to an 8 DP sounds like a better idea but this swap has already taken too long and I can't wait for more parts. I'll swap the housings and copper coat the old gaskets. Thankyou very much!
