@Jacks Transmissions since you deal in rebuilding transmissions, Do you think Buschwacker would have my VIN number in the computer system to see if my transmission was ever sent there?

If you don't race it, and does not have clutch drag, no money to rebuild the tranny soon, I'd say go for it.

Im thinking its syncros. Im going to baby the car. Ill be only putting maybe 50-70 miles a week the next few months while im at school so maybe this spring ill throw new syncros in or rebuild

I'd at least put redline MTL in it and call it day. More protection than synchromesh while still very light for synchros. Or live with car that's not very fun to drive at all.
