6758 efr

 

A ball bearing BBK-Lite would probably do what you want. Configure it with the surge ported compressor cover and a HD actuator preloaded to 22# for a 25# peak. Get the proper cams too. Something like poncams, or S1's. Crush the stock metal DV.

 

 

Love my HKS 7460R

 

That was a MIVEC 2.4 with the 7460. Torque was pretty ridiculous and really it needed to be on E85 to be the most fun. You can run it on gas of course but making that much torque that fast it would be better on high octane.

That's a great turbo, I never heard of that. Potential of 500whp with a 3k full spool. This isbetter than any EFR/GTX series turbo.

 

I wouldnt go that far. If you worked at it there are combos with the EFRs that could spool very similar and make more power.

 

I heard there are some kind of wastgate problems on HKS 7460 turbo...

 

Havent had a problem, and fp wastegate fits if there is a problem.

Let me go through and find the ones in particular that I am thinking of.

 

I mean, hard to compare as in. Getting an EFR that will spool the same and have top end like this. My 6758 would full spool at 3k but then would die at about 450whp. Anything bigger I'm sure would lag to 3.5-4k rpm

Either an EFR7163 or 7064 Twin scroll...Garrett side either an HTA3076 or HTA3576 and twin scroll.

 

I don't think the 7163 is out yet. And really HTA 3576 full boost by 3k? I was thinking that's like 4.5k spool
