On a stroker motor with say a 2.3 or a 2.4 with a stock 9 turbo, does the potential for compressor surge increase or become a problem? Also, does the fairly "small" airflow capacity of a stock 9 turbo become too limited given the considerable increase in the volumetric efficiency of a stoker?

Maybe apples to oranges but a td04 on a 2.5 subie usuAlly doesn't surge. Maybe with a mbc ptfb happens

GT55-91 should do the trick.

More or less tapped out as far as power on a 2.4 with 10:1 compression and a stock IX turbo. We could have made more torque but it already had traction problems on the street.

7163 will be out soon enough and can move 60 lbs/min.

Here is one making a little more power, it also has an overlay of one of the first pulls with a 34mm restrictor on it...ignore those

The IX turbo with a big motor and a lot of boost down low will surge.

Gotcha! Different beast! ( probably more efficient + + airflow)

I have the hta 71 and I see 20 psi by 35-3600 normally and the slope is only increasing from there.

How does the hta71 compare to the closest efr counterpart?
