disappointed in my injen intercooler pipes
I have had my Injen pipes since 2010, only UICP touched the hood vent piece, but I dremeled the piece that touched and no issues after that.
Plus, wifey bought me the pipes with intake as a b-day present!

If it hits the hood the pipes are on wrong. The only real issue I have is how short the couplers are. The lower IC pipe is restrictive but so is the stock j pipe. I bet it isn't a measurable power loss on a stock turbo. Maybe on a huge stock frame it would suck. If you have them In wouldn't toss them but I certainly wouldn't buy them. I have an ETS setup and I love it but I got it for free. I would keep an injen setup that was free until there was a need to change.
same here^^^, injen upper, custom 2.5 in lower and used to have injen intake, no issues with fitment or power at all, injen lower pipe is the real culprit to injen pipes being "crappy" in my opinion
I just had problems with them blowing off. it happened almost everyday. And then I noticed that because they are just thin aluminum, the pipes would warp causing them not to seal. I could boost past 15 psi because a pipe would blow off. I switched to ETS and haven't blow off a pipe in 3+ years.
Ya definitely NOT the pipes fault. I used there couplers and for the turbo to intake coupler I used a spectrum coupler. Cant remember if its 3-4nch. But ya, tbolts all the way.

Gonna back up injen here. Sure everyone can say my $300 uicp works better than your injen.
And I like ets products, no hate on them, but remember the whole mild-steel ets rust fiasco? Nobody's products are perfect.
With that said, try readjusting the couplers on the pipes. It sounds to me like installed error more than a manufacturing defect

no it's the aem intake it doesn't have enough angle to clear the uicp so I turned it up so I can atleast drive it, but I'm ghetto so I'm running around without the hood or front bumper till everything gets settled
