2.75 dp to a 2.5 or 3 inch test pipe

I have a 2.75 hks dp and the HKS SS exhaust which neck downs to the stock cat at 2.5. My question is should i go with a 2.5 test pipe or a 3 inch test.

I would not put anything less than 2.75 at this moment, 3" will be better choice. If you put smaller diameter pipe after DP you will create some restrictions in the gas flow. I don't think its worthed.
