Just wanted thoughts on new clutch... ACT

ME2-HDG6, 6 puck sprung with monolock heavy duty pressure plate.

Car is an 06 evo at about 400 WHP and 380 WTQ!

Its a daily driver, but I like it aggressive.

Did I make an OK clutch choice? Install will be in about a week.

Thanks,

- Phil

Shouldn't you have asked this BEFORE buying the parts?

From what I hear about the 6 puck sprung, it should be fine.

It will be tolerable. I like a street disk better but I have the HD PP with the MonoLoc and street disk and it is great at439whp with 419tq. It held 570whp 500tq like a champ from a roll. I hhaven't launched it at all.

I would of got a full face sprung disc for daily duty MB7-HDSS if your were really set on ACT... slipping that puck all the time will suck.

Why does slipping the puck all the time suck? Is it really stiff?
