howyou doing guys I currently have a hks catback and I am not happy with it I heard for a lot of people there are not good. I am trying to replace it and I need suggestions on what I have to change it. thanks for the help.

 

What do you mean "what do you have to change it"? Are you wanting another exhaust or is it too loud or what?

 

Why are you not happy with it just curious?

 

if you mean how to change the exhaust as a whole itself then you would be unbolting it from the bolts on the back of the cat and taking it off from there.

i dont think anyone gets what your real question is. are you asking how to take it off or what catback should you buy?

I may have a solution for you!

I have a stock cat back. I run a 3" DP with a Y pipe to a boost actuated exhaust cutout that opens fully at 10psi.

It's almost stock sounding while under 10psi, slight rumble out the cutout, since it doesn't seal completely. It also gives me better performance than a 3" TBE, however, it is extremely loud at 10psi and up!!!

Let me know if you're interested in this type of set up. You could drive up and I can install it for you.
