Just got the head off, I have a broken valve in the cylinder where I had the melted spark plug. None of the pistons have chunks out of them or anything broken, but they are pretty dirty and one of them had coolant on top of it. Will post pics tomorrow because it is too dark tonight
Wow! The hole in the exhaust bowl does not look like it came from a broken valve, more like a burn thu or a thin casting that just failed to me.
Did the shop remove the seat and guide?
Get a new HG, why risk having to pull the head again?
I would have the fuel injectors tested, that one may not have been flowing enough fuel and caused a lean condidtion.

I'm going to get a new head gasket, my tune was bad because last time I was on the dyno I blew my turbo and there was a boost leak so when I got everything back together it was probably running lean. I am buying another head so this one is pretty much a huge paperweight
