Kiggly vs duals

I'm just getting my things together to start getting my motor back together. Going to do an English racing 2.2 slr with curt brown head with STM 650 cams. Now curt puts kiggly springs in. My question is which is better, kiggly high pressure or super tech duals. Been doin a lot of looking and reading on the forums. STM recommends the duals with their cams. But are they better or just selling them cause its what they use.
Thanks for the help

If you do some research look for the pressure ratings for both sets of springs you can see which one is stiffer. Then you can see if the Kiggly meet or exceed the Duals for seat and open pressures. The single spring will weigh less and should provide more uniform function if they can handle the base needs for the cams. The singles also do not require any machining of the spring seats. Not sure about the duals.

This. I always prefer to use beehive springs when possible.

Can someone post the spring pressures for each spring mentioned?

Just research the benefits of Beehive springs vs Dual springs, there is a reason Mitsubishi used that design from the factory, why put some big block Chevy design spring technology into your motor? Stick with Kiggly beehives or GSC beehives, they can be used for ANY camshaft including GSC R2's to 10,000 plus rpm.

Curt which kiggly spring do you use. The street steel or the high pressure ones.

I prefer single over dual. Using GSC in my car currently, but would have no hesitation in KigglyRacing either. Just happens I wanted an all-GSC head.

Duals, even with the proper valvestem seal, dont have much clearance on the inner spring and will eventually lead to a stem seal failure. Add to that you have 2 springs with differing harmonics to deal with that may or may not interact well with a big camshaft profile. Kiggly Beehives or GSC 5041 Hi Revs.

Ditto, I have seen too many valve stem seals pop off from duals, they belong on a Chevy!
