I'm kinda thinking the other way around. Would be interesting to see what -6 deg does at peak power for a kill mode tune where emap is way higher than imap. Or perhaps the better approach is messing with the exhaust cam timing?

I'm afraid to mess with the ecu ign timing reference. Would it be as simple as 1=2 2=4 cam crank etc?

If I take advantage of all 38 assuming no interference that is crank degrees. There's a ton of numbers involving teeth = degrees vs cam and crank. One tooth is 14 crank degrees right? Cause I see 3.5 degrees being referenced as half tooth consistently. X2 for whole tooth and x2 for cam to crank ..

38 total advanced, plus the -1.2 available leaves a range of 39.2. Is that correct?

So 38 minus 14 for one tooth retarded is 24 leaving 24 minus 39.2 is leaving us with -15.2 crank degrees .

Does this add up?

That kind of mivec retard, would it amount to a higher efficiency at high back pressure?
