ETS Short Route Complete Intercooler Piping Kit (Evo 8/9) Recirculation Pipe?

I'm trying to purchase the ETS Short Route Complete Intercooler Piping Kit (Mitusbishi Evo 8/9) online at the moment. One of the options is a Blow Off Valve Recirculation Pipe (Yes +$15.00/No)

I just plan on using the stock blow off valve in my Evo IX, so do I need this recirculation pipe? I'm running a Braille Mini Battery setup at the moment with an AEM intake if that makes any difference.

Just had my stock radiator blow at the metal crimps and plastic (80,849 miles). Slow, but sure leak coming off the top of it. I'm purchasing a Mishimoto Radiator at the moment so might as well get some piping on there while the front bumper is off

Only if your planning on recirculating the BOV like it comes from factory.

Okay, I thought so. I knew the Evo comes with a recirculating BOV from the factory, but I didn't know you could have it without the recirculation pipe..

Any benefits of having the stock BOV vent to atmosphere instead of recirculation?

You get the benefits of possible driveability issues like stalling, surging, and possibly worse mpg.

The "benefit" does not applies if you are running speed density intake
