ACD feed line sprung a leak, lolwut

so I open my garage and my drip pan has red fluid on it, I check around and find that the hard line that comes off the acd pump is dripping, to be exact, the gold colored fitting that joins the hardline and the pump seems to be leaking.

I attempted to snug it up, but it did not work. has anyone had this issue and how has it been rectified? I checked with mitsu and I can order a new hardline section, but i want to be certain that will fix it before I actually do it. I never use any other modes aside from tarmac and the pump has always been bled properly and Ive never had any other issues with it. There is 57,000 miles on the car total.

You're going to be the best person to answer that question as you can physically see/touch the car. Someone on the internet is not going to be able to tell you yes or no. Why not replace that pipe and see what happens? That's really about all you can do. Take it apart and inspect it. If you find something else wrong that's probably your problem. If everything seems good then replace the line and recheck it.

True, I just like having some idea of what it could be before I start ripping into stuff. Ive never had to touch my ACD and I just wanted to see if anyone would comment if they experienced the same thing.

Right, being prepared is the best strategy. Unfortunately I don't have any experience otherwise. Only thing I can think of is make sure its not running down from above anywhere.

Figured Id rechime in here just to update in case anyone ever searches. it was all simple. There was a tiny tiny crack on the actual line itself, the part that seats against the rubber grommet inside the pump. Where the line flares out, it was cracked. Replaced it, tightened it, and its good to go.
