Damaged MIVEC Sprocket
Damaged MIVEC Sprocket
Hello,
I think I damaged my MIVEC sprocket when I was installing cams.. I found it difficult to line up the cam with sprocket because I couldn't see the hole like you can on the exhaust side.. Once on and finally installed I checked all timing marks and turned the engine by hand and everything checked out.. Went for a drive after the engine got warmed up and the SES light pops up with the awesome P0011 code.. The following week I took the cam sprockets off and this is what my MIVEC looks like.. Seems to be damaged.. Need advice! Should I replace it (probably uh YES) and would this cause the famous P0011 code?
Thanks ahead of time EVOM!!!
