You'll probably be getting the same answer I gave you in the PMs. You can always buy both turbine housings and see which you like more but the difference will most likely be unnoticed on the street.

I don't know the answer but if you get a .63 we can compare to my .82. I was considering a swap. At 550 I don't think the .63 will hurt anything. But then again a 5858 and .63 would be a better overall powerband. I would buy a smaller turbo than a 6262 if 550 is the max power you want.

He told me 650whp when he PMd me last week but if it is 550whp, a PTE 5857 or 5858 with E85 and the 2.3L is a winning combo. Huge powerband and a lot of torque, Mike from AWD was telling me how amazing that setup was a few years ago.

I have already got the turbo with 2 hotsides from a buddy for a sweet price. Thats the only reason I took it over the 5858

After checking some logs, with my FS635 turbo w/ .82a/r, I'm hitting 26.6psi at 4970rpm consistently. But I'm on pump gas, a rough tune with very little timing which doesn't help spool but much higher lift cams which do help. Even though you have a larger turbine wheel, your head work and E85 should kill the spool on mine.

For under 600whp I would go with the smaller .63 hot side

Personally I'd go with the .82. IMO on a turbo that size why choke it up with a smaller ar.
