are these evo 8 or evo 9 cams? I don't remember if my oem cams had those counter balance weights, but my Tomei cams looked like those were grinded off. I don't know if aftermarket cam manufacturers generally grind those off or not though.

Those are Evo 8 cams you can tell by looking at the ends of them. They look like cosworth m2 cams to me and it says [m]2 on the end of one of them. If they are m2's then they are 272 cams with 11mm lift. You need to upgrade your springs for these cams if I'm right.

If your talking about the 2nd pic I think that says [11] 2. But if they are cosworth they will have a laser etched cosworth and serial info on the black portions. They may be brian crower bc0112 cams. I would contact brian crower or another of the cam companies and see if they can help you pinpoint the brand on the identifying marks and provide the specs for them.

They look like stock cams.

So they could be a Delta Regrind based on the HKS 272 Cam grind.

Measure the base circle of the cams. Most 4g cams have a base circle of 1.180

Delta regrinds have appox 1.140 base circle.

The big give away that they are stock cams if the letters I and L behind the #1 cam journals.

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/cyli...formation.html

As far as I am aware there is no new aftermarket cams that come with those markings

What holes are you talking about?
