Question about meth/failsafe testing?
Over the summer I had my smc meth kit replaced because I started having inconsistencies with it so I went with a Aquamist kit with a failsafe . Now basically my failsafe is setup that if the pump was to fail or not flow the way it should then I only make 13#'s of boost. If I shut off my Aquamist control it only makes the claimed 13#'s of boost as there is no pump flow, so I guess thats a way of testing it. I wanted to know if it would be bad to try testing it out doing a 3rd gear pull and shutting off the Aquamist controller to simulate a pump failure? I believe it was also tuned to drop the timing . So would it be ok to try or totally advise against it, was kind of wondering how quick the ecu would react but not at the expense of a motor. Sorry I probably should of posted this in the engine mang. /meth forum, mods please move if needed.

I really like it and before I pulled the trigger on purchasing it I did read a lot about it and there were lots of positive feedback . Its a little more money then other meth kits on the market but worth it IMO . I have noticed that my my afr's are a lot more consistent , I think it may because of the way it works with the IPW (injector pulse width) where its always communicating with the ecu to as what the injectors are doing. I see you live in Ct, as soon as we experience some better weather I would be up to meet so maybe you can see how Aquamist setup is.
