Choosing Injectors... Help

Whats up everyone,

So I am looking to purchase injectors and I am curious of what to go with. Here are my current choices only need 1200-1300cc.

DeatschWerks 1200cc Low impedance
DeatschWerks 1300cc High Impedance
Injector Dynamics 1300cc

My question is since I know Injector Dynamics is probably the best choice are deatschwerks good and do people run them in evos? my reason for asking is because The Injector Dynamics are way! more expensive than them.

Any info would help, Thanks!

There is a reason the IDs are more expensive than the DWs... The ID 1300s are the only injectors on the market that use full stainless internals... I don't really care for DW products myself...

What are your goals with the car and that will give us an idea of what size injectors your need...

Agreed. What are your power goals. I like ID's too. I plan on getting these.

My goals are really just to make 500 on an fp black eventually. Right now sitting at 450 is fine with me. Maybe e85 in the future but as of right now not even considering that. Any other brands you could suggest maybe? I only picked those two because my work sells them

If you aren't planning on running E85 anytime soon then the ID 1000s would be a good choice as well as the FIC high z 1100. The FIC is a good choice because they use the EV1 style injector plug and all you have to do is get or make a resistor shorting plug... with the IDs you have to use a shorting plug and either use injector plug adapters or wire in new connectors to the harness...

This is not true. Most DeatschWerks injectors are also manufactured with full stainless internals.

I want to get the 1300 or 1200cc just to save me the time to switch them out again when I do go to E85.

And you are not the first one we sell both injectors here at my work and that is the biggest selling point that ID's are the only injectors with full stainless internals.

Sorry I really don't believe that unless you guys are completely rebuilding the injectors and the internals. While most of the oem injector internals are stainless, there are also non-stainless components as well...

Pretty much all modern injectors are manufactured with full stainless internals: Bosch, Denso, Siemens...even the ones manufactured for OE applications.

Stainless internals are, for the most part, industry standard for injectors intended for use in liquid injection applications.
