Biggest cams available I'm pretty sure around the 12.5 mm area. My builder and i have some tricks up our sleeves that will be coming out shortly once testing and **** is done. Can't bring anything out just yet.

I build lots of engines. And take lots of pictures doing it. There is no way those are 8cc dishes. its not even close. first pic is a 17cc dish on 85mm piston, the second pic is 8.9 compression 2.0.

I get it big guy...... you dont think they are what they are. You've built some motors I get that too. Have you built a 2.1? Have you checked any of the piston specs that correspond with compression? 12cc of dish correlates to 9.5:1 on my motor. Not to mention the zero deck and other misc things.

Buddys motor that was built by hatcher (well known guy in the dsm community) used a 10cc dish and came out to 10.5 to 1

I know they are not the compression you think they are. so now they are 12cc dish? what happen to the 8cc spec doubled checked by the best builder in town? If you cant take being corrected sometimes maybe you shouldnt post?

What are you doing as far as oiling is concerned at 10k?

The 12cc dish was just a formality in the discussion.

I have no issue being corrected when it comes to aspects in which I am wrong. Happens a lot too actually. I also appreciate the help. However, I'll see if I can find the sheet that came with the pistons that lists the dish and specs. They are 11 to 1 in a 2.4lr the compression height is 1.130. Typically in an untouched setup you lose one compression poi t due to the loss of stroke a d swept volume.

I don't doubt your expertise as I've seen a lot of your 63 motors and they look great. But when giving advise off of 2 cell pone picture's and in a nutshell saying (you're a liar, there's no way.... here's these pistons, and your builder is a retard) is just uncalled for. When the motors done I'll do a compression check for you and we can see where she's at. If it's lower than stock which you're claiming I'll buy you a few beers at the shootout.

I calculate the compression for all the engines I build. Virtually none of the advertised compressions for pistons is correct. its always off. Even half a point off is a huge deal. I just went from 8.75 to 8.35 in my personal car and difference on how the engine performed was stark. I just thought you might be interested to know the compression you think you are running is way off. It wasnt meant to be rude. Just trying to help.
