Help!!!!Please

I'm a noob here. I bought a new o2 housing. I'm about to install it but when I took my old o2 I noticed that it had some sort donut ring around the base. My new doesn't have one. My question is if it's ok to install it just like that or if I need some sort of ring around the base of the new one too. It's where the o2 and dp meet. Any help would be great. I think it's like a gasket of some sort. I'm probably wrong

It's actually called a donut gasket. You do need it but it should be reusable. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Link below for image.

If you are careful not to crumble it when removing it could be reused.

Save yourself some aggravation. Replace it. Not an expensive part to replace..

I can be reused but its worth the 20 bucks from the dealer not to have it leak right after you put it together.
