Cam install

I'm doing a timing belt, water pump and full gasket kit along with head gasket and head studs on my evo 8 and I was thinking about doing kelford 272s and either dual or beehive springs and retainers, which is better and what else needs to be done while I have it apart

I believe beehive springs and supposed to be better. Kiggly beehive springs is what people tend to choose. They've been tested to 11k RPM I think with no issues so I would choose them.

I would do the lifters personally with zero tickers. It's a cheap $100 investment to keep your top end quiet. As far as what springs to get it depends on how high you want to rev and the cam duration. I feel like most people actually get gsc beehives or supertech duals. Good luck with everything.
