I just ordered the Espelir exhuast and perrin dp but i didnt get a cat. delete pipe, would it make a big difference if i got one, what would the power or sound differences be if any.

 

probably a bit louder....a bit as in you'll notice it's definitely louder, but I wouldn't say thunderous.....power difference....realistically I say 5-8 to the wheels but some claim 15, dunno.

 

Dude, way more than 5 to 8 at the wheels with a catback and downpipe. Catback alone will give you 15 to 18 and the DP some claim 20 or more, dyno proven. Most catbacks perform about the same. B&B claims 50 WHP with their turboback so does Buschur. Even a muffler delete pipe will give you gains of about 8 to 10 WHP.

 

the sound is gonna be awesome.. little louder but worth it

To be clear, I'm talking about the extra whp u gain from the test pipe, not the catback and the dp.

 

your right, cuz i think sincityevo didn't read correctly got2vos questions. He asked how much power if any would a test pipe give you, and you said 5-8 hp, you answered his question right tama_mog, I think the others are still sleeping while they are typing

 

There will be extra gain from the test pipe no doubt, how much is just a guess unless you dyno it, I would say probably like 5whp. T

The biggest difference will be the sound. So it might even make your mind make you think your going faster. Its basicaly like this:

00000ooo00000 the small "ooo" are your cat, so its stops the free flow of the exhaust, so it will give you more power if its:
0000000000000 anyway, you can always get it later..

 

Dynoflash should give you a good performance...
