Next Step

Just wanted to throw this out there and see everyone's thoughts.

I currently have a FP Red with all supporting mods + Meth, HKS 280 cams, built 2.0. I was last tuned back mid 2009 and made 510WHP/490WTQ and there have been a lot of new developments since then. So Here is my proposed idea.

Porting the stock intake, FP exhaust manifold, along with porting the stock TB. Also I plan on having it tuned with Duel map (one with meth one with out), speed Density, ecuboost

Goal:
1. Stop the top end WHP from falling off at high RPM's
2. Try and hit peak torque earlier and stop it from falling so quickly

Thoughts?

That sounds good, pick up some gains from ported IM and TB. Also, I would add the new hot side that FP came out with. It looks very promising, Id imagine top end will be much better. I plan to do this to my Black. Or buy a DBB Black that already has that hot side.

I saw that, that is also an option it'll come down to cost benefit.

What are you using to control boost? That new hot side "looks" like top end would be greatly increased. When I was on the FP IWGA and MBC my top end would fall off too on the Black. When I went with MAP's comp gate 40 o2 housing with open dump and Grimmspeed EBCS my top was much better. Granted it added some lag but top end makes up for it.

Currently using Hallman MBC. I figure with Grimmspeed EBC and ECUBoost I'll be able to solve the issue. Right now I'm spiking to 35psi and falling to 29/30 range.
