I have my subframe and drivetrain out currently... and noticed a very very light film of engine oil on the backside of the block. The highest point of oil is where these "dimples" are located.
There are two of them: one is placed on the #2 intake port, and one on the #3 intake port.

I am clueless as to what they are... and what would seemingly cause oil to escape from there.

Any ideas?
