6466 or super 99
At the moment I feel there is no better turbo for the streets than a 6466. The spool and power make it an all rounder for the streets.
The Super 99 is mostly for drag setups. The lag is very noticeable compared to the 6466 but the top end power would destroy the 6466 no doubt.
At the end of the day, it comes to what you really want to do with your car.

Do realize OP, one is a 72mm and another is a 64mm. While both are very big turbos, they are in two different classes for which they serve their purpose well.
I'd do more research.

Exactly, so they are probably a better comparison - asking Super99 or 6466 is like asking us how aggressively he should build his car for drag or street, as otherwise they are the (arguable) best options for two different level of beasts.
The 6466TZ sounds like a logical alternative in concept, though with absolutely no proof of it's performance and the sheer well proven capability of the PT6466 - as much as I like FP's work the PT6466 seems a no brainer unless you are building a drag car.

I ran both turbos on my drag car "Junk Box". They're both pretty different. The Super 99 makes about 50-60whp more then the PTE 6466 depending, but the 99 has much more lag. If I were to build a street car, I would 110% no doubt go with the t3/t4 PTE 6466. That in my opinion is the best street turbo out there.
