Evo 9 blue smoke, oil on spark plugs!

So my evo 9 starting puffin blue smoke while accelerating. Now during idle as well. And runs very rough. Also when reving up it blows out more. Definitely burning oil as the level went down. Took out spark plugs and there was oil on the threads of all of them. Did a compression test also:

Cyl1: 128
Cyl2: 130
Cyl3: 141
Cyl4: 135

Not quite sure what the problem could be!

if you have oil on your plugs then it is your motor, possibly a crack in a piston or valve. no bueno. those compression numbers are low also but I don't see a large difference between the numbers, but with those numbers you would likely need to do a rebuild when you have time anyways, goot numbers should be around 170-180 if I remember correctly

Your compression numbers seem to be all over, engine may need to be refreshed.

If it was a piston or ring, or even a crack wouldn't that be affecting only one cylinder tho? Not every one?

Could it be all piston rings at the same time tho? Isn't that something that would happen to only one cylinder?

I have similar prob but my compression are 165 to 155 across the board. I was advised it my valve seals so I am about to get my head build with new valve seals, springs and retainers.
I am running the s2 cams but still have stock springs and seals so was told that was what cause my problem.

Mines throw blue smoke on start ups and light sometimes at idle, but no smoke on the highways.

Make sure you do all tests. Mine did something similar to this awhile back and
it ended up being bad valve guides.

Your numbers are scattered and low, it could just be wear on the engine and needs a refresh. How many miles on it? You can also do a leakdown and see what it is.

Not necessarily all pistons are being used at the same time theyre just worn out, are you having too much blow by through the oil cap ? The compression numbers look low but they are not to separate from each other 10% or less which is not bad but low. Your best bet is to do a leak down test. Remember tdc at compression stroke.

It's got about 85000miles. Also like the engine was completely cold when I did the compression test. So it might be a bit higher if the engine wasn't completely cold.
